Maya Manor Boutique Hotel is a colonial style manor turned hotel located in the business district of Hattisar overlooking the former Royal Palace and grounds.

The mansion was commissioned in 1935 by the first chief of police in Nepal whose notoriously aristocratic family ruled the nation for 200 years.

It was turned into a boutique hotel in 2016 with a heritage wing recreating rooms from the aristocratic period, a new wing with executive deluxe rooms, and the Carter Wing, named after President Jimmy Carter, to commemorate his visit during Nepal’s historic transition from monarchy to democracy in 2008.

It is equipped with three restaurants, Maharajah, Moonshine Patio Bar & Restaurant, and the Carter Rooftop Garden.

The Baithak, a museum room of artifacts from the aristocratic period, is the crown jewel of the hotel.

Business travelers find the hotel conveniently located near their businesses, consulates, banks, embassies, and shopping centers.

Maya Manor Boutique Hotel is equipped with a business center, two meeting halls for board meetings and conferences, gardens and terraces for private business functions, and a VIP lounge for confidential meetings and negotiations.

The VIP lounge in particular comes with personal butler service.
