The 9th edition of the South Asian Travel Awards has launched its evaluation phase in Colombo. A three-member jury panel will assess Sri Lankan nominees from May 6–11, followed by evaluations in other major South Asian cities including Bengaluru, New Delhi, Kathmandu, Paro, Dhaka, and Malé.

The organization has spent eight years establishing itself as a premier platform celebrating outstanding contributions to tourism and hospitality across South Asia. The awards span multiple categories, recognizing hotels, resorts, service providers, and tourism innovations.

The evaluations will culminate in the SATA 2025 Gala Ceremony scheduled for September 19–20 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, where industry leaders, government officials, and international media will gather for the winner announcements.
