The ninth iteration of the South Asian Travel Awards has initiated its evaluation phase in Bengaluru, assessing nominees representing South Indian hospitality businesses. This evaluation round follows a preceding assessment session conducted in Sri Lanka.
The Bengaluru evaluation period spans from May 11–15, with subsequent assessments planned for North Indian nominees in New Delhi. Industry specialists comprising the SATA jury are conducting in-person reviews of nominated properties, maintaining a transparent and merit-based selection process.
The awards maintain their standing as one of the most prestigious accolades in the South Asian hospitality sector. A notable feature is that no fees are levied on nominees for participation or evaluation.
The ceremony for 2025 is slated for September in Sri Lanka.
