SATA 2025 Evaluations Begin in Bengaluru for South Indian Nominees
The evaluation process for the 9th Annual South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) has commenced in Bengaluru, focusing on nominees from South India. This follows the initial round of evaluations held in Sri Lanka earlier this month.

The Bengaluru evaluations, running from May 11 to May 15, will be followed by assessments for North Indian nominees in New Delhi. A distinguished panel of tourism industry experts, forming the SATA jury, is conducting on-site evaluations of nominated properties and services, ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection.

SATA remains one of the most prestigious accolades in the South Asian hospitality sector, recognized for its credibility and independence. Notably, the awards process is entirely fee, with no charges levied on nominees for participation or evaluation.

Endorsed by several multinational tourism organizations, SATA continues to uphold high standards in honoring excellence in travel and hospitality.

This year’s Grand Gala is set to take place in Sri Lanka in September 2025. Previous editions have been hosted in key regional cities including Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kathmandu, Mt. Lavinia, Galle City, Malé Atoll, and Addu City.
